GENERAL SITE TYPE Tholos
TYPE
1. Artifacts. AR[1956], 12 'Finds from them included bronze swords, many steatite spindle whorls, three terra-cotta figurines and a solitary sealstone of jasper engraved with a running bull.'2. Cem. AR[1956], 12 'K. Rhomaios (A.S.) reports the discovery of a further group of six small Mycenaean tholos tombs on the ridge where the important tholos tomb was found last year at this site ... '
3. Lithics. Howell [1970], 96 'Hope Simpson found some obsidian chips on the site.'
4. Tholos. Laconia II, 130 'Of great interest are the eight miniature Mycenaean tholos tombs (about 3 metres in diameter) discovered in 1956 and 1957 on the same hill.'
5. Tholos. AR[1957], 10 ' ... two other small Mycenaean tholoi (each only three metres in diameter) have been added to the six similar tombs discovered there in 1956.'
