2. Lenormant is describing a vase which he found at 'Mesa-Vouno' (C1198) on Thera. He compares it to certain (otherwise undescribed vases) which were found at a necropolis at Cape Koloumbon at the NE end of the island. He dates these vases to 'the time of the Phoenician colonizers'. Lenormant's account may be found here.
