GENERAL SITE TYPE Sherds
TYPE
1. Sherds. Sackett et al. [1966], 63 'Surface sherds of E.H. type were reported by Theochares on this small and low-lying island at the south-east side of the Eretria harbour.'PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. EH: (3100 BC - 2000 BC)
a. Sackett et al. [1966]: 63, 'Surface sherds of E.H. type...'
NOTE
1. The error was set to 300 because this island is 600 m. in length. Its area, however, is only about 66,000 sq. m. which corresponds to a circle of only 145 m. radius or 911 m. in circumference. So the actual area is less than a quarter of that suggested by the error radius.
