1. Middle Protogeometric: (1000 BC - 950 BC)
a. Catling et al. [1990]: 92, 'Where sufficient comparative material is available, the conclusions reached in the analyses of the individual types collectively point to a MPG date for our assemblage.'
b. Popham et al. [1993]: 101, 'This pottery falls within the Middle Protogeometric stage at Lefkandi, probably near its end, which, according to the prevailing views on chronology, would place the events between 1000 and 950 BC.'
