NOTES
1. Pelon [1976] 244, note 7 explains the name and spelling, 'Lamiospito' as indicating 'House of Ghosts' ('la "Maison des Spectres"'). On the other hand, he says, German archaeologists spell it 'Laminospito'.
2. Wace and Thompson [1912] 82 list the finds as 'Inside the tomb the vase fragments found were mostly undecorated. But with these latter were many gold ornaments, and many of glass paste, some bronze arrow heads, a gem of lapis lazuli and some other stone and bone ornaments.'
3. The tomb is visible in Google Earth at the stated location.
