4.    Tomb.   Daux [1961], 839    '...découverte d'une petite tomb mycénienne...'

PERIOD (High Chronology)

1. LH IIIA: (1410 BC - 1315 BC)
    a.    Simpson [1981]: 206, 'LH IIIA'
    b.    Daux [1961]: 839, '...six vases de l'H. R. III A.'
    c.    Simpson and Dickinson [1979]: 369, ' ..., LH IIIA pottery ... '

NOTE

1.  Myloi is 2600 m. to northwest of the Heraion at a bearing from the Heraion of 291 degrees. If this is what Simpson [1981], 206, 'Myloi' means by 'not far to northwest of the Heraion' then well and good. I have placed the mark ON Myloi but that will almost certainly be wrong. In the BCH notice Daux only says, "Samos. - Près du village de Myloi, découverte d'une petite tomb mycénienne (diam. 1 m. 62 - long. du dromos 0 m. 83) contenant deux squelettes, trois rosaces d'or, deux boucles d'oreilles également en or et six vases de l'H. R. III A."
