1.    Sherds.   Simpson [1981], 128    'On the south part of the ridge, ..., coarse ware of MH and LH types were found.'

NOTE

1. The first step is to find the Lioftakia/Leoftakia ridge. Topoguide shows the ridge 'Lifiaka' just to the south of the hamlet of Aghios Isidhoros (F291). The bearings suggested by Simpson and McDonald (MS69 or 'Messenia III', p. 155) intersect on this ridge and I have placed the marker just to the south of their intersection.
