1. The area around Miraka has been the scene of a number of small discoveries; chamber tombs and the like. Some are listed in Simpson [1981] 93, 'D 53 Miraka: Chandakia, Lakkopholia, Gouva, Rema, and Oinomaos (Pisa)' or in Simpson and Dickinson [1979] 97, 'B 76 Miraka: Rema, Chandakia, etc.'.

These specific named areas are difficult to locate and I have taken the liberty of listing them together here:

Chandakia/Chantakia: Simpson [1981] 93: "From destroyed tombs at Chandakia come a Type F dagger and a spearhead, probably LH II-IIIA, and LH IIIA2 vases."

BCH 123 [1999] Chron ., p. 698). Cette cinquième tombe, mal conservée, a été partiellement fouillée ; elle contenait cinq ou six crânes, peu d'ossements et une céramique peu abondante datant de l'HR IIIA1-2. AD 53 (1998) [2004] ΒΊ, p. 230 [O. Vikatou].'

La fouille d'urgence qui s'en est suivie a produit deux jarres et quelques objets datables de l'HR IIΙΑ ; des perles en faïence, en pâte de verre et en cristal de roche ont été trouvées dans les déblais.
