NOTES
1. A figurine of a female divinity riding a horse was discovered near Charvati (now Pallini, 38.012527, 23.871325) at some time in the 1940's. It wound up on the antiquarian market and then appeared in the Stathatos collection; described in BCH (73) 1949, 520-21 and fig. 3. Simpson and Dickinson (1979) p. 216, 'F 43 Charvati' say this: "Some LH IIIB figurines (now in the Stathatos collection) were found in a grave c. 3 km. S of Charvati." Privitera [2013], 130 thinks that this figurine (and some others) actually comes from the Glyka Nera - Fouresi site: 'E inoltre verosimile che dalla stessa necropoli provengano alcuni reperti, tra i quali una nota figurina di divinità femminile a cavallo, circolati nel mercato antiquario alla fine degli anni '40 del XX secolo e confluiti nella collezione Stathatos come provenienti da una tomba posta nei pressi del villaggio di Charvati (oggi Pallene ...)."
