NOTES

1. Placed notionally 2 km SE (bearing 135° from the town) of Atalanti. Even though the AR [1995] says Spartia is 'SW' of Atalanti, Kramer-Hajos (Figure 3.1 on p. 36) clearly depicts it as SE of the town and that is how I marked it. Site contributed by Professor Sarah Murray, University of Toronto.

2. The BCH online report no. 4623 is describing a new chamber tomb found in 2005. The original excavations are from 1990. This new tomb was reported in AD 60 (2005), B1, p. 447.
