1.  Langohr [2009] 86 mentions the opinion of some that the architecture of these buildings resembles the corridor house of the Mycenaeans. Langohr prefers to draw their distinct architectural features from Minoan architecture. '... plusieurs éléments dans l'agencement et l'architecture de ces édifices ... qui pointent des origines et des formes crétoises minoennes.'
