NOTES
1. The cave (C604) of Langadha is in a ravine (Gioupari, F6090) with steep sides. It was to this cave that Ms. Benton was lowered by means of ropes. It is situated to the W of Old Koulourata (C6089) which town is now in ruins.
The area of Palati (with find site C603) is on the other side of the road that leads to Sami and on the western slope of a hill. On this hill (I do not know exactly where) is an old fort. Dr. Souyoudzoglou-Haywood calls it 'Franco-Venetian'; Ms. Benton calls it 'Hellenic'. Relocating this old fort may be the best way of localizing C603 which I have placed notionally because the toponym 'Palati' does not appear on any maps to which I have access.
2. Kako Langadhi is a cave find.
