NOTES

1.  The notice in the BCH (1991, p. 887) speaks of artifacts: " ... le matériel comprenait entre autres le vase illustré fig. 62, ainsi qu'une énorme quantité de perles de terre cuite, de pâte de verre et de pierres précieuses, et sept sceaux en stéatite ... "

2.  The notice in BCH [1985] p. 800 says "It housed many individual graves (sépultures) among which were found eight vases, many engraved ring settings (chatons de bagues gravés) and beads of glass paste."

3.  While the name of this chamber tomb is often given as Mavrolophos or Kato Mavrolophous the find spot is just to the east at Mamaleika. This is where I have placed the marker. The precise location is not known to me.
