'Hope Simpson and McDonald saw a Mycenaean double axe (said to be now in Patras Museum; I did not find it), which had been found at the site. They did not find Mycenaean sherds on the hill itself, but suggest that it could be considered as a candidate for the Mycenaean habitation site.'
