NOTES

1. These ingots were thought by some to come from Platana but they really come from the port of Kymi, Fachard [2012].

2. This is potentially important for the subject of prehistoric metal-working in Euboea. The nineteen ingots were found early in the twentieth century about 13-14 m. distant from the platform of the port by a certain captain Kalamakis. They are pillow-shaped or Buchholz type 1b copper oxhide ingots. Sixteen of them are in the Numismatic Museum in Athens, three are in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. There was no context for these ingots and so they remain undated.
