1. Sherds. Simpson and Dickinson [1979], 269 'Finds from the Dhafni area include EH sherds, ... '2. Sherds. Sackett et al. [1966], 46 'E.H. and more obsidian was found south of Mourties, about a kilometre north-west of Stefaniou, in fields above the spring.'
PERIOD (High Chronology)
1. EH: (3100 BC - 2000 BC)
a. Simpson and Dickinson [1979]: 269, 'EH ... '
b. Sackett et al. [1966]: 46, 'E.H. and more obsidian was found ... '
NOTE
1. The town of Mourties/Myrties is at F3699. The site where these sherds was found is described as:
- " ... in the vicinity of Myrties, on the N side of the Misipetri mountain." (Simpson and Dickinson [1979] 169, 'G 94 ... ')
- " ... south of Mourties, about a kilometre north-west of Stefaniou, in fields above the spring." (Sackett et al. [1966] 46, '18a. Dhafni: Stefaniou.'
In light of these two constraints I have placed the marker at the N foot of Misipetri, about a kilometer from Mourties, and above a source that is shown on Topoguide.
