2.    Wall.   Antonaccio [1992], 91    'The appearance of the Terrace retaining wall most closely resembles Mycenaean "Cyclopean" stone construction like that of the walls of Mycenae or Tiryns.'

2. Early Archaic: (700 BC - 600 BC)
    a.    Simpson and Hagel [2006]: 36, ' ... or Early Archaic (Antonaccio) date is indicated.'
    b.    Antonaccio [1992]: 98, 'Wright's date of 650-625 for the Old Temple, based on current evidence for early Greek architecture, seems reasonable. ... Whatever its date, there is no reason to separate the Old Temple from the construction of the Terrace.' In other words Antonaccio agrees that Wright's dating of the Old Temple is correct. But Wright dates the wall to about a century before the temple. Antonaccio thinks that they were built about the same time. So, in effect, she puts the date of the terrace wall also to ca. 650-625.
