4. Welter [1938] 26 says of this site:
"Die recht bescheidenen Probegrabungen ergaben einen erstaunlich wohlerhaltenen Befund an Metallwaren, in Krügen aufbewahrtes Getreide, ja sogar Goldschmuck: ein Beweis für die jähe Vernichtung der Ansiedlung und dafür, daß die Bewohner restlos abgeführt wurden und daher diezerstörte Stätte nich wieder aufgesucht haben."
or"The rather modest test excavations produced an astonishingly well-preserved find of metal artifacts, grain stored in jars, and even gold jewelry: proof of the sudden destruction of the settlement and that the inhabitants were taken away, therefore never returning to the destroyed site."
5. Fimmen [1921] 9 says "Auf der Spitze des 530 m hohen Oros Gebäudereste mit vormykenischen und mykenischen Funden ... Die meiste Keramik ist im Museum von Ägina."
