NOTE

1.  The Avaritsorevma of Simpson is now the Meliteorema and marked by F1887. On the east bank of the M., about a km. from Melitaia (measuring from the center of the town) there is a small ravine on the E side that defines the NE side of a semi-isolated hill. The chapel of Ayios Yeoryios is at F3223. The distance from the acropolis of Ancient Melitaia (F1888) is about 700 m., not Simpson's 500. The intended site may be what Kaczmarek [2015] 408 means by 'Tzouka' at 39.038889° N, 22.448333° E.
